will impact performance in the NCAAT. Some of the wrestlers will have very few matches under their belt. Less chance for weight control and a multi-day weigh in at NCAAT might be problematic as well. I have my eyes on Iowa and the recent positive tests - some teams have dispensed with COVID whereas some teams may still need to deal with it. How does this affect stamina and lingering effects leading up to NCAAT? It likely will not impact Iowa as a team (they are too strong) but it could significantly impact individual weight classes.

For whatever reason the NCAAT elevates performance and for others performance seems to diminish. We certainly have had a few under/over-performers in the NCAAT. As you suggest, maybe Marinelli has a hard time staying focused/energized for 3 days. Mekhi would likely meet him last so maybe that is advantage Mekhi.
